Our Story

Give a Hadeya...

Hadeya (noun) meaning gift.

Yes, another hijab seller. Except we hope to be more than that. We hope that by purchasing a beautiful set of hijabs, you and I can both do good by giving another set to our beautiful sisters in Islam.

Our vulnerable sisters here at home.

Our sisters in Calais, our sisters in Cox Bazar.

Our sisters who revert to Islam who we can welcome with a gift.

Or maybe you know the perfect person worthy of a gift, be it a neighbour or a stranger.

Abu Hurayra reported: The Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ) said: “Give each other gifts and you will love each other.” (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad)

Buy one, gift one.

At Hadeya, we give you the opportunity to buy a set of hijabs for yourself and in doing so, we offer you another set of hijabs to gift.

We have teamed up with various charities who have a presence both here in UK and abroad, to supply hijabs to women in vulnerable situations such as shelters and refugee camps.

Our current campaign is with @spot_project and for every boxset you purchase, we will match it by giving a Hadeya boxset on your behalf, to be part of the uniform for @spot_project's brand new school for girls.

The charity has done incredible work in The Gambia, providing food packs, water access and education for those in underprivileged areas. The generosity of people has allowed @spot_project to build a fantastic school for boys and are now building a school for girls. To find out more, please visit @spot_project at www.spotproject.org.

We are also working on a Hadeya blog, so you can stay informed of our joint efforts.
